FAQ
Questions we get asked a lot.
Do you install cameras I already own?
No — we don’t install customer-supplied cameras. It’s the only way we can guarantee the warranty and the quality of the install. We supply the equipment as part of every job.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Nairobi and cover the greater Nairobi Metropolitan area. Site visits (KSh 1,500) are scoped to this area.
How much notice do you need to book an install?
At least 1 day. Larger jobs — Premium, a big Customize Package, or reinstalling more than 3 cameras — need a morning slot (07:00–12:00) to leave enough time to finish properly.
What’s covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers software malfunctions for 1 year from the date of purchase. If your system develops a software fault in that period, we assess it and replace the affected equipment once the claim is verified. Installation and workmanship issues are handled separately as part of our after-sales support — ask us directly if something feels off after a job.
What isn’t covered by the warranty?
Physical damage isn’t covered. That includes breakage, water or power-surge damage, tampering, and damage from mishandling or accidents.
When do I need to report a fault?
Report it as soon as you notice it. The fault has to be reported to us and confirmed within the 1-year warranty period — issues raised after the period has ended aren’t eligible for replacement.
What do I need to file a warranty claim?
Your payment details: the name of the person who paid and the date of payment. Have your receipt or payment confirmation ready, then message us on WhatsApp to start the claim.
How are warranty claims approved?
Before any replacement is issued, we verify all of the following:
- The fault is a software malfunction.
- The equipment has no physical damage.
- The fault was reported within the 1-year warranty period.
- The payment details match our records.
Do you serve businesses, not just homes?
Yes — shops, offices, restaurants, schools, warehouses and rental apartments. Businesses don’t get boxed into residential packages; request a site assessment and we’ll quote based on your actual space.
I’m not sure how many cameras I need — what do I do?
Book a KSh 1,500 site visit and we’ll assess your space in person and recommend the right setup, or use the Customize Package option to mix indoor and outdoor cameras yourself.
Can I move my cameras if I relocate?
Yes — that’s our Reinstallation service. KSh 1,500 covers up to 2 cameras, +KSh 500 per extra camera, and you only pay once the job is done.
